If you scour the interwebs for any information regarding M-E-S-A, all you really find is that he is an artist from España who is keeping up with the times by taking realism to the streets. His work is dark and ominous in my opinion; focusing primarily on singular creatures or figures. And his mind seems to be aware of the dream world we all share and the infinity that surrounds us. I can greatly appreciate that for it means he is aware of himself and most likely realizes how infinitesimal we truly are.

JR is in Cuba for the next phase of his ongoing The Wrinkles Of The City project. While there, the French street artist documents the people and their culture, enjoying the hospitality of the locals on the island where life seems frozen in time. It looks like JR teamed up with artist Jose Parla, and they are working on a collaborative project together.
